Legends: a misfit team taking on the impossible

I finished watching the Netflix series Legends this evening. It’s a six-part series that follows a misfit team of British Customs officers sent undercover as they try to topple the drug gangs behind the flood of drugs in early ’90s Britain.

I loved this. It’s a story I knew next to nothing about as I was only 12 at the time. It offered an intriguing glimpse into a corner of Liverpool’s history that I didn’t know about, either.

There’s something about an under-resourced team with seemingly little chance of success, attempting what no one thinks is possible. And it’s even better for being based on a true story.
