Unleash your gratitude on the people you appreciate

by Sam Radford on May 26, 2009

Love unexpressed is a pretty useless thing. Gratitude unexpressed is as good as meaningless.

Not only are words without actions not enough, thoughts without words are largely pointless.

Who are the people around you who you love, appreciate, and are genuinely grateful for? Do they know? When did you last tell them? What was the last thing you did to show them that you value them?

Today’s post is quite simply another call to do something. Don’t sit on your appreciation. Don’t hold back your thankfulness. Let them know.

Maybe a friend has been a real support for you in a time of need. Or a family member could have helped you out in some way. Go out of your way to let them know that it has not gone unnoticed. Don’t let the people who are closest to you be the people who get taken for granted.

Grateful people are healthy people. You can’t afford to be half-hearted with your thankfulness.

Don’t just think about this post. Decide who you’re going to express thanks and appreciation to today. And then do it.
